Why can I no longer deposit checks at my bank’s ATM
I stopped by my bank today, endorsed a check, sealed it in an envelope, inserted my bankcard into the ATM, entered my PIN, and was only given options related to withdrawing money. As can be seen in this photo, the button for deposit had gone AWOL. The man at the next ATM did not have this problem.
I have never before had this sort of trouble. I wonder if Chase is having problems integrating us Washington Mutual customers into their system?
